This year, I've noticed the lack of the traditional office chrimble party - by which I mean that every other year, from about mid-October, my colleagues and I have to deal with a nightly onslaught of drunken passengers fighting, falling over, shagging in the carriages, falling asleep and missing their stop, not to mention the sick, blood and half drunk cans of stella.
Not had a single problem so far (touch wood!) - so what's going on? Has the 'credit crunch' killed the office p*ssup or has the entire population suddenly turned sensible?

in this small town, mostly to pubs, clubs and restaurants, and especially on Thurs, Fri and Sat.
So probably the latter :)

My company (a bank, no less) announced 5 weeks ago that instead of spending £20 per person, that as a gesture of thanks for all of our hard work were going to spend £30 per person. Yay!
My Regional Manager then arranged our Christmas do on a date I couldn't attend, so I miss out on £30 worth of booze. Boo!
And 2 weeks ago the company announced that due to the credit crunch, we are not getting any end of year payrises, despite what we had been verbally told a couple of months back. :(

but we're not having a proper party because everyone hates each other.

Christmas Eve and going to the Mexican restaurant next door for lunch. No partners invited this year.
However, my boyfriends company is having a huge shindig, and he's invited me! I'm quite (a lot) happy about that.
