Yep, I agree with the mic stuff!The drums were mic'd with my SM58, from near my drummer's right knee for that.
He's about to get a set of drum mics, anyway, and we've got a mate with a degree in Music Tech who's gonna lend us three SM58's for whatever we want, so yep, mic the amps :)
