Get a little sad when they log in and see that bleak grey link up there that says 'You have 0 unread messages' or is it just me being a missy no friends? :D

Set up an alias like me
and send dirty messages to yourself. Keep it in check though cos I got a bit filthy with myself in some of them so I had to send myself a message to let myself know I needed to cool it. I wasn't happy with that I can tell you. I'm now at the stage where I'm actually not talking to myself which is a real shame cos I used to get on with me so well.
