Some good advice there, SoS-i-aI think what I'm after is slightly different. Something along the lines of an Ibanez AGB200, which is more of a semi acoustic, but would really need to be plugged in to get any decent sound level.
Should give a nice warm edge sound, but, as with anything like this, you get what you pay for.
