*clears the way*I've played an Aria. Not bad, cheap, but not all that loud.
Tanglewood stuff is generally great for the price. I've played one of their acoustic basses some time ago and it was nice.
however, you'd be better off with a double bass. My bass player got his for £400 ;-)
his electric bass is a Stingray *drools*
