I spent a good few days trying various proxies etc with little joy. The bbc have most common proxy providers blocked, and the few that I found that did work only lasted a matter of hours before going down too. Usually they slowed the streaming down so much it became unwatchable too.

which he says works a treat. Its not free though, costs $17.
The original thread was in March and he reckoned it worked perfectly. I have no idea if anything has changed since then. I havent tried it myself as Im too tight to pay up for something that might be rubbish.
