You should get a lot of mileage from SpybotBest to run it in safe mode so all the little beasties are turned off. As said above, do it with system restore off as these things can hide in the restore and bite you later if you use it. Faster to run without too.
There's probably some manual removes too if you google a bit. Wouldn't hurt to run something like Avast too. I would recommend AVG, but I've a feeling it doesn't like Safe Mode (I really hate when virus scanner guys do this)
