At the risk of sounding like Mr Daily Mail......most observers have missed the point that Palestinian civillians continue to be treated like shit. Israeli blockades ensure that little economic aid gets through and that roadblocks mean day to day life is very tough for Palestinians. Their own leaders aren't doing much to ease their plight either.
To a lesser extent, Israeli civillians are suffering thanks to the bombardment from crudely assembled missiles.
Turning our backs on the Middle East ain't the answer IMHO, we created the problem in the first place so the least we can do is try and sort it out.
