@RubberduckI've looked at the V70 and they are very good value second hand, but almost all of them are automatics. I hate automatic gearboxes (and I know you'll tell me they're very good nowadays, and probably better than manuals on big cars etc, etc). It's a control thing.
Edit - I also explained motorboating to my GF last week. With a demonstration...
