I like it when QotW makes me laugh. And if someone has a particularly touching story to tell, that can also be a joy to read. In both cases, I think good content can often be marred by poor execution.

I also have nothing against puns. Some are better than others, but I have just posted one myself, so it would be very hypocritical of me to raise any objection to them.

I also second Thomson's opinion on the smart-arse two-word posts. Occasionally they hit the nail on the head with a particularly good joke, but half the time they're just trying too hard to be clever.
