Driving fast
mostly along motorways, I start thinking "I wonder what would happen if I just span the steering wheel violently to the left?". Mostly when there's someone else in the car with me. Then my palms get all twitchy and sweaty, and I start getting scared I'll actually lose control and do it.

That's why I hate driving on motorways, and avoid it at all costs. I prefer going the scenic, winding routes. There's more to think about and engage one's concentration: when one's on the motorway and is faced with 200 miles of just keeping to the road, one's mind tends to wander and imagination kicks in. Argh.
