Trust me, I'll be home as soon as I can be.
Unfortunately I have to work or I don't get paid. I don't get vacation time at all.

But this evening she'll hopefully have had a decent amount of sleep (adjusting to local time is always hard to do) so we'll be able to go take care of the few errands I need to attend to, get some dinner and have a nice evening together. Last night I sent her to bed about 8:00 as she was fading out, since her body still thinks it's about 1:00 am at that point.

It's a good day for her to be indoors resting anyway- it's grey and cold out there, and there was some mushy ice on my windshield this morning...
