You're right Kaol, but the clever bit is getting the particles to stay nano-sized. Small particles have a tendency to clump together, at which point the materials cease being nano.

But it's a wide field of research, and the 'nano' tag is a buzzword which attracts funding from agencies who don't know what it means, so that's fine.

Edit@Bert - what doesn't kill you will make you stronger. With the possible exception of cancer. And perhaps polio. Or MS. Or...wait a minute - that expression's absolute bollocks.
