David Brin
I'm reading Brightness Reef at the moment.

It's pretty weird, even by my standards.

Has anyone read his stuff, and is it worth persevering?

gave up on it right at the start when they found that guy
and read 'the battle for normandy, 1944' instead. Did you know Britain had about 500 soldiers killed a day in normandy? Mental.

I reckon I might keep reading it until Moby Dick arrives
and then read that
