Hmmmm *ponders*I think Your Funny Uncle by Pet Shop Boys is a strong contender. It's a song written about a funeral attended by Neil Tennant of a close friend. It's a truly beautiful song.
If I wanted an uplifting song I'd probably choose, If My Heart Were A Ball It Would Roll Uphill by Marillion. Very inspirational.
But I'd probably want to make use of the last chance I'd have to inflict my musical taste on family and friends. The Moor by Opeth it is. It's got all the classic elements required for torture: folk, prog and metal.
