Devin TownsendI can highly recommend Devin Townsend's (SYL frontman) solo albums; if you like SYL they're fecking awesome! The most recent one was 'Ziltoid the Omniscient' which lyrically is mental but musically is top notch. I love it.
And new bands, if you like SYL, go try out Textures and Gojira; forward thinking metal from Holland and France respectively...
