London pubsThere are a few dotted around Covent Garden. I'll scout round a few and report back...
Make sure you do as The Resident Loon did and drink English beer (Real Ale) with amusing names like Bishop's Finger and Badger.
As for galleries you can't go far wrong with the Tate Modern (on the south side of the Thames) and the British Museum full of stuff we plundered during the days of the empire.
The main museums are free.
