Should have stayed in bedI trudge into the office to find it empty for the first hour. Until the arrival of the new and rather attractive French girl. I was understandably not entirely disappointed by this turn of events- there are worse people to spend a day in a snowbound office with.
Except that before I get the chance to even say hello, I get a coughing fit. Off I go to the kitchen to get a glass of water. French girl enters the kitchen after me and the conversation unfolds thus:
Me: *frantic coughing*
Her: Are you okay?
Me: Fine *cough* thanks. Just *splutter* got a bit of *slurps water* a frog in my throat.
Her: *icy stare*
Me: *facepalm*
I really should have stayed in bed.
