Had a similar B3ta moment with a client a while ago. I've since found out my judgement was right in what I said and got away with and he's very hard to offend, but at the time I'd only just met him so was a tad inappropriate.

He's a very large bouncy fellow, reminds me a little of Al Murray. Clicked straight away, which is always nice with a client, had a few good chats and a laugh rather than the usual uncomfortable business oriented spec meetings.

Out having a fag, chatting general rubbish, on one of the hottest days of the summer. He made the passing comment about the heat being too much.

I responded with, "Yeah, tell me about it. I'm sweating like a vicar at choir practice!"

We just kind of looked at each other for a split second whilst that washed over and decided to pretend I hadn't said anything...
