the "cat" was the size of a big dog was definitely a cat from the way it movedparticularly its tail, and when we found the footprints they were a foot or more apart
there was no way that was a normal domestic cat particularly as there are quite a lot of sightings of a big cat in the area.
and guess what: a panther is a black cat.
I know what I saw.
