Don't Take My Advice

I've packed my life in and reinvented myself quite a few times.

I didn't make my first really decent money until my early thirties. I was fairly well off during my thirties. Then I managed to get almost wealthy by the age 40 - almost worth a million. A bad marriage wiped that little lot out.

During my forties I again built up a decent living and then chucked it all in to emigrate to Oz to be with the girl I love.

Now, I'm looking like becoming seriously minted again. I've a meeting tomorrow with the Great and The Good and, if it goes well, the gravy train will have arrived again.

At 26 I didn't have the sense of a dog.

Give it up, pack it in, chase the dream for a while. If nothing else it'll change who you are forever. The new you might be better or worse than your current self but, at the least, it'll give you some decent stories for QOTW.

It's never too late, or too early, to live a little dangerously. I'd hate to be lying on my deathbed thinking:

"I wish I'd done xxxxxxx"

Life's too short. Seize the day.
