I've just found outthat we had a MAJOR clusterfuck on one of the jobs I'm working on. And it's at least partly because I was too trusting of the guys who've been doing this shit for thirty years, and didn't micromanage the job.
The guy who designed part of this project was the one they sent to the field to inspect it. He didn't notice that they had left off an entire ladder. I repeat: an entire fucking LADDER. Which he was supposed to have climbed to inspect the thing.
GAH!
Knowing Greg he probably did the entire site inspection from a Dunkin Donuts shop...
