ah, homework
that phrase chills my heart. glad you are still feeling the rain. where I lived, at a time, was the desert, and a high ratio of borax in some of the sandy places. when the rain was about to come a certain smell (sort of saline) would pervade. was a prelude to happiness.

I am also fairly brain dead after a long week. but it's all good when I can sit around and flip between a few books and get my own stuff done. yay! weekend!
