That's shameful. That somebody the same age as I am could get that involved in something which will probably have very little effect on their life actually disgusts me a little. At least, it would if I cared.
Planners will have already considered every point you've raised, there will be dozens of mithering old busy-bodies who have objected already, your letter will just be a number on an officer's report. Big applications are usually decided by the County Council, they might not even read the objections on file. They will go by any policies that are already put in place, and disregard the opinion of the public, the local council, and even the Local Plan for that area, if they choose to. Lots of objection letters just means that something is unpopular, and as far as I'm aware, popularity has nothing to do with development.
This country is broken, there are many things wrong with it, but writing a letter or attending a meeting isn't going to fix anything. We're still run by fuckwits, we're still shat all over by large corporations. What we need is a real revolution, one I would be happy to lead myself, or at least be a part of, but as I said before, the country is full of retards, who are happy to go about their lives, allowing twats in suits to make our decisions for us in this so-called Democracy.
Wow, I've never felt so political.
BGB would be damned lucky to have me.
