The reason that there is such a proliferation of chinese water deer & muntjac deeris because of one of the previous Marquess's of Tavistock bringing them over and breeding the,. The little sods escaped, bred and now charge about the neighbouring countryside like crack crazed pigs.
The deer at Woburn just wander about the place and you can drive through from Woburn itself to just behind Ridgemont - It's quite cool.
My Dad used to run the farm next door and we supplied their keepers with a load of milk from some of our fresians for some of their baby animals (I think it was a Giraffe but I may be wrong).
