I once had a homemade maggot farm
Well, perhaps maggot farm is being a bit creative with the truth. It was more like a jar full of maggots that I found in the rubbish. I totally forgot them on the shelf next to my bed in the roasting sun. By the time I opened the jar they were quite lethargic and for some reason unbeknownst to me I thought it would be a good idea to see what they smelt like by putting the jar right under my nose.Needless to say the resulting mess of maggots and sick went straight in the bin.
