He made the request basically because I was involved in the problem (with a third party) but as a spectator. I was in the meeting where the problem arose.

I did not lie; I just gave my version of events and was quite objective. I did not write saying "My boss for president" or anything like that. However, I did leave clear that the other party was in the wrong, which is clearly the case to anyone who isn't a total retard.

I guess he asked me because, supposedly, I was a respected member of the firm and usually my opinion is asked for in such cases anyway. It seems for some reason this time there's something else going on.....
