You big cynicHe is a friend because we've been working together for 10 years. However, he is still the Director and my boss and I am in a position (supposedly!) of responsibility. I neglected to mention that I am not the only one who put forward their opinon and other people do not have the same relationship.
I only wanted to make clear that we are friends because if we weren't I wouldn't worry about telling then he asked me write my account to save my own skin. See?
