2nd cutest native British animal.

Cutest is otters. I've had the rare privilege of watching a family of otters meet, mate (didn't actually see any shagging) produce cubs and watched them grow up.

All from a curiously enlightened farmer who owned the stretch of water. The water was a prime fishing beat - up to 250 quid a day per rod to fish there. Most farmers would illegally get rid of the otters ( OK - kill) as they ate a fair amount of his fish. This guy's attitude was that he's rather see an otter take a fish than some fat bastard from London.
