said that they get 22k in benefits, roughly equivalent to a 30 grand salary and they say it's not enough and they need more because "vegetables are too expensive"

I shop in Sainsbury's, not known for being the cheapest of supermarkets, but even there it's the vegetables that are the cheapest foodstuff by far. What they meant to say was "all those pies and cakes and junk food we fill our gaping, drooling maws with every hour of every day are expensive". Lazy, fat cunts.

I am fully behind the Welfare State as an institution, it's vital for State benefits to get to the people that need them and these freebooting, workshy fuckers are draining it for no good reason.

They are *not* too fat to work, whether it's hereditary or not. It's not like sitting behind a desk and working a mouse needs you to be in Olympic shape, is it?
