Regrettably
The conclusion that I reach from reading Himjims link is that these are people who aspire to celebrity, and are getting themselves plastered all over the media by exploiting possibly the only real talent that they have - getting fat.

I feel neither outrage nor sorrow for this misbegotten family and their spurious claims upon the state. They've achieved - in a minor way - the accolade that they've sought and are doubtless basking in the opprobrium that their media exposure has helped bring on.

This isn't a cry for help, it's a cry for publicity and the fact that I'm sitting here typing this now illustrates that it's worked.

Or I could take my Wurzel Gummidge media-cynical head off, put on my rather less tolerant head and say "Lazy fat cunts. From fucking Burnley, so I expect little better."
