I'm sad
one of my very good friends has today stopped working for my company and is defecting to the enemy.

Never really given a shit about anyone leaving my workplace before....

aside from my gf she's my closest female friend, and we are kind of confidants to each other, so her not being in the office is a bit of a blow.

she's just changing job. You can still talk to her, just not as much. It's better than not being able to talk to her at all.

and I do work with the people she will be working for some of the time.

the main point is as Kaol has rightly said, most co-workers are shit, and losing one of the two decent ones is a blow. and the other one is probably fucking off soon too...
