I went to the doctors this morning and now have had blood tests, have to take in a stool sample and have an abdominal ultrasound booked.the doctor took my blood pressure 3 times and mad the "hrmmmm :(" face every time.
worrying.
As for bad backs mine have never been that bad but I find ice packs good although be very careful of freezer burn. Also in all cases I recommend Solpadine as they best "feel good" over the counter painkiller there is!!
