Mine is pretty self-explanatory, I think.
I used to post in a Usenet group under my real name, and if I was bored I'd make up some goofy nonsense to mess with their heads. When someone started trolling us I told him to fuck off or I'd have my pet tyrannosaur eat him and shit him off the top of a cliff. Someone referred to me as a loon for that, and I liked the thought- partly because of my nature, and partly because where I come from there are loons on the lakes.

I had a different name once upon a time in here, but got bored with it as it's my name elsewhere, so I changed over to this one day. It's still rather fitting, I think.
