Yep, it's a surprisingly good filmMy favourite moment was perhaps the phonecall to the police where he makes the demands more extreme because a reasonable demand from JCVD wouldn't make sense (genius) and then tries to arrange for his legal fees to get paid (worth a punt in that situation).
I vaguely get the impression that there was some child custody case. IMDB's trivia says he actually has a son but they changed it to a daughter in the film "for legal reasons".
