I run a mail order businessso, for my sins, I deal with this kind of shit every fucking day.
Sadly, Royal Mail are in many respects the best as they do at least know where all their delivery addresses are.
Actually the most pertinent question here is 'have the retailers actually sent them yet?'
I'm waiting for an LP to turn up today - but of course if the shop hasn't mailed it, it ain't coming.
Less than 10% of Royal Mail traffic is delivered late. Late by their standards, anyway...
*EDIT* as for will he knock and run, the question is does he/she normally?
