I thought if you quit it was easier to get benefitsI went for the quit option in case I need to get job seekers and to get a decent reference. I know I'd lose the investigation, so didn't see the point in dragging it out.
Edit: No I wouldn't be paid through the investigation as I'd be suspended without pay.
