On my cycle in to work
There's a section of my trip where the cycle lane is on the pavement, rather than the road. The two are clearly marked as separate, the tarmac is a different colour, and there's a half-inch ridge between the two.

Every day there'll be at least one vacant person (usually a mum walking their fuck-trophies to the local school) walking in the cycle lane. Today was no different.

What did cause my piss to boil this morning was one stuck-up woman who refused to move out of the way when I politely asked, choosing instead to shoot me evil looks. A further polite request was returned with "I'm walking here, be patient".

The nearby children learnt a valuable lesson this morning; a carefully reasoned argument ("you're walking in the cycle path") coupled with a request ("now please step up onto the pavement") may not be enough for some people.

Therefore, resorting to obscenities ("Get your fat arse out of my way, you selfish cunt!") may be required.
