PunkThe Pistols' LP is fucking brilliant, as is the Damned's 1st one - pretty much everyone else in that UK punk scene was awful. There's a very good reason why practically no one can name a Generation X or Slaughter & The Dogs song.
US punk (by which I mean NY Dolls, Ramones, Stooges etc), however, I love with a passion - and 'proper' punk rock - mid-60s US garage, I could and regularly do listen to all day.
I do appreciate that my opinions about music (and indeed anything else) are of strictly limited interest to everyone but myself.
