I got up
at 6.30, filled a flask with tea, packed a bag full of flapjack (which I made especially late last night) and crisps, and went to my brother's where he was waiting for me with the car full of stuff we had packed yesterday in our ambitious plan to attend a Car Boot Sale today.

We got to the first site at 7.30... fortunately we decided to wait before erecting the gazebo to see if anyone else turned up... they didn't. We continued to be the only car there.

We drove for an hour to the other sites we had the foresight to note beforehand... to find one sign which read "Car Boot Sale - Full" on the gate to a completely empty field, and another which read "Cancelled due to weather".

We came home. I unpacked my car and put all the stuff back in my house. I am now in bed watching Futurama and drinking lukewarm tea from my flask.
