Or...I was going to say you could lose. As in play the game aiming not to win. Then increase the difficulty as she starts getting the hang of it and shafting you.
I successfully used the above technique to teach a 9 yr old girl backgammon. The little cow then beat me comprehensively 5 times in a row (when I was actually trying to win!) until I refused to play her any more.
How old is your daughter?
