Molesworth is AWESOMEread that to DEATH when I was little. That and "The Thirteen Clocks" by James Thurber. If you can get hold of a copy, do, it's amazing.
At the moment, Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman. I prefer Smoke and Mirrors, but it's still good.
