I took the shopping out...reached up, thought I was out of the way, and gave the boot a good pull to flip it down.
I was a mere 2 inches from being properly out of the way. So the pointy corner bit got me.
And it made the most hideous crunch sound when it hit. And made my teeth on that side tingle. It really was very unpleasant.
