Irish rugby this year has been outstandingso the whole six nations followed by Leinsters climb to the Heineken Cup Final this Saturday against Leicester - where are you watching it?
Great fights in the last couple of years include:
Georges St Pierres' demolition of Matt Serra, Matt Hughes, Jon Fitch, BJ Penn in the last couple of years.
Forrest Griffins' successful light-heavyweight bid against Quinton 'rampage' Jackson.
Seeing Rampages' 5-round brawl with Dan Henderson in London for the title.
BJ Penns' destruction of Sean Sherk.
Frank Mirs' methodical deconstruction of Roderigo 'Minotauro' Nogueira to gain the interim heavyweight title.
To be fair to MMA/UFC, watching the growth of that sport since 1993 has been really exciting.
The 100th event is on this summer and it has an outstanding fight card - if you dont know it and you like fighting/full contact sports, check it out.
