because I think £15 / month for up to 3Gbyte of usage is not a bad deal at all.

Yes, 3G speeds are never "broadband" but...it's more than adequate for web-browsing and e-mail, as is the 3Gbyte allowance.

I used mine a lot last year when doing lots of travelling on the train.

I'm with Vodaphone, who seem all right.

I would shop around for the best contract. The price-point seems static enough nowadays - most deals are £15 / month - it's the length of contract you want to be careful with.

I'd avoid 3 like the plague though.
