I've often thought this
it seems that the more intelligent you are the more likely you are to find fault in things and be offended by other peoples bad qualities, and the harder it is to find something to hold your attention.
On the flipside the... um... lesser mentally endowed... are perfectly happy with 7 McDonalds a week and a shiny white jacket to wear as they hurl abuse at random strangers.
Also: I split up with the girl I've based my visions of the future on (semi-detatched house, patio furniture, scruffy little dog with a permanently inside-out ear called Dyson) the day before yesterday after nearly 5 years, but I've not been here long enough (or ranted about it enough) to warrant a name drop, so I'm doing it myself.
