Edinburgh, hands downAlthough I suspect I would get pissed off at the festivallers and there only being about 4 days of sunshine per year. I lived in Bristol for a year too, and I would move back there in an instant - I thought it was lovely. Horfield is a shit tip though - some thieving pikey there still has my motorbike :(
Home is what you make of it. I'm in Birmingham for the next three years and it's really not as bad as everyone makes out, it depends on where you live and the friends you make and all of that other maudlin guff.
Good pubs help. And Liverpool's alright, bar the accent...
