I've been too terrified to venture all the way to the bathroomever since I watched The Land Before Time.
But I can't bear to turn on that horribly bright light after my eyes have adjusted to the darkness.
So I learnt to feel my way to the fridge. The light is much gentler on the eyes and the cold air suppresses the smell slightly.
