You guys are all forgetting one simple thing:Spread the money across enough banks and accounts and you could easily hide the money from friends / family / spouses. True, you wouldn't collect as much interest on the amount, but at least it is hidden.
And if you are wanting to divorce without having to share the money, don't collect the lottery prize yet but hire a really good attorney to rush the divorce through....then collect your winnings very quietly......
