yeahor move in new directions. Series long plot lines, stories that span several episodes, using other caricatures from springfeild. Oh and get rid of the shameless celeb cameos.

All of this. Continuity is something that would give it more life.Then again, Futurama had next to no continuity and traded on the fact it was the future and so in theory anything was possible. And it was made of win.
